I came here today because we are staying in a hotel for my golf tournament. Looked like a good place to eat. Me and my family are Mexican food coni suers we got some cheese dip to start and it was really good. The vibe was different than an authentic restaurant, the music also different. The service was good too. Food came out somewhat fast. The cheese and chicken enchiladas were GREAT. The cheese one was the best I've ever had. If you don't like veggies don't get the chicken one. Beans and rice also great. Overall a wonderful spot by the college campus. 5 stars. S tier

Food is typical Mexican fare. Trash can nachos are the exception. If you can get through them you are a trooper. Margaritas are great, especially on Wednesdays when there is a special on them. If you can and the weather is good grab a seat on the deck. Make sure you are not downwind from the lake fountain or you'll get spritzed with pond water. No bueno that.

Who doesn't like a margarita and a taco (or tacos)?? Came down to Columbia to visit a friend in university and we decided to go here with some friends for margs and tacos. We got some marg pitchers, and a whole bunch of dishes. I ordered the steak tacos, which were quite good. Likewise with the margs. The pitchers were very big and very delicious! My only complaint is that the wait to get our drinks, our orders in, our checks, etc was so, so long. It took almost a half an hour just for us to get water. The dinner that we planned on being only an hour or so was almost three hours by the end because we were waiting around for various things for so long. Our waiter was super sweet, but oof. The wait was really bad.

Really nice restaurant. I wish the weather had been better as they have a beautiful deck overlooking a lake. They were very busy at 5:30pm on a Friday. But we didn't have to wait for a table. For a table of 7 they brought out 3 baskets of free chips and salsa. The chips were good. The salsa was very good with a bit of heat. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Checked on us, didn't hover but kept our drinks filled. The peach, strawberry and original margaritas were enjoyed! The shrimp chimichanga was huge and delicious. The shrimp quesadillas were also huge. The tomatoes made it a little too runny. It also didn't have enough cheese. We wouldn't order it again. It was just ok. I'll try something different next time. The T-bone steak with garlic shrimp was better than expected! The steak was a little over cooked but flavor was good. The shrimp were great! Steak fajitas were very good. The 2 children split an order of chicken wings. They ate every bite! We were there celebrating our daughter's birthday. They gave her a large shot of tequila for free. They said they would come sing to her. But they were so busy they weren't able to do that. Which actually made my daughter happy, lol!
